Help shape the future of Maybury by submitting your views on our updated proposals to make streets safer, healthier and more attractive for walking, wheeling and cycling.
The consultation period is now closed
About the project
Local Street Improvements (LSIs) are schemes intended to make streets within residential communities more appealing for people to spend time in and to make short journeys by walking, wheeling and cycling. As part of Surrey's LSI Programme, a scheme in Maybury is being developed.
Once this part of the design process is complete, Surrey County Council will seek funding to take the scheme through detailed design and construction as and when suitable opportunities become available.
Following previous engagement at the end of 2024, Surrey County Council has updated the LSI proposals for Maybury. We are now reaching out to the local community again to understand if there is support for the changes that we have made. We would like to hear from people who live, work, study, travel through and spend time in the Maybury area. This will be final major opportunity for local people to help shape the proposals before design proposals are finalised.
For more information on the updated proposals, please see the area-specific tabs below. Please provide your views on the proposals by 7 December 2025 via the area-specific tabs.
If you are unable to use the online survey, please send your views via the email address at the bottom of this page.
