Walton Local Street Improvements: Have your say
Help shape the future of Walton-on-Thames area by submitting your views on our proposals to make streets safer, healthier and more attractive with improved facilities for walking, wheeling and riding.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the latest round of engagement on the project. We are currently reviewing all of the feedback received and we plan to report on the engagement results in due course.
About the project
As part of Surrey's Local Street Improvements Programme, a scheme in Walton-on-Thames area is being developed.
Following two rounds of engagement which provided us with ideas and views from local stakeholders, proposals have been developed for Walton-on-Thames area to make streets safer, healthier and more attractive with appropriate vehicle speed limits and improved facilities for walking, wheeling and cycling.
We want to obtain views from local stakeholders on the proposals to help shape the plans in Walton-on-Thames. We would like to hear from people who live, work, study, travel through and spend time in the Walton-on-Thames area.
We have split the proposals into three areas as shown on the map below. The proposals are contained on individual pages for each area which can be accessed from the map below or from the ‘Have your say page’, which also contains information about the proposed 20mph speed limit area.
Please provide your views on the proposals by 14 December 2025 via the short surveys on each of the area pages.
If you are unable to use the online survey, please send your views via the email address at the bottom of this page.
Please note, funding is currently in place until the end of stage 3 design only. A bid for further funding will be necessary for detailed design and construction. It may be necessary to prioritise certain elements of the proposals in a bid for construction funding, depending on the anticipated amount of funding available.
