About the E-bike scheme

Surrey County Council, Guildford Borough Council and the University of Surrey are working together to introduce an e-bike share scheme that will expand the accessibility of public transport, linking Guildford town centre to:

• Travel hubs
• Places of interest
• Shopping centres
• Education & Leisure facilities

We aim to provide a fleet of at least 300 e-bikes and 50 docking stations in and around the town centre.

The project aims to:

• Reduce congestion on Guildford roads.
• Improve air quality.
• Provide a low-cost public transport option.
• Promote a more active form of travel.
