Summary of next steps following public engagement

Thank you for your responses to our public engagement exercise regarding our proposals to install a push button pedestrian crossing on the A246 Epsom Road just next to the junction with Upper Edgeborough Road/Lower Edgeborough Road.

Following the results of our public engagement exercise which showed a significant level of support for the crossing (results shown below), we will now continue with the design work and legal process to install the crossing. This legal process will include the advertisement of the crossing on Surrey County Council’s website with further opportunities to support or object to the proposed crossing.

Subject to the outcome of the formal advertisement we hope to construct this crossing, at the earliest, during the Easter School holidays.
