Woking to Chobham cycle route update

Following a thorough review of all feedback received, it was decided to proceed with both proposals. 

The extension to the cycle path has been constructed and is complete.

The detailed design of the proposed traffic light crossing is currently being undertaken.  Once this is complete, there is a statutory requirement to formally advertise the proposed crossing. Any objections and comments received during the advertisement period must then be considered in accordance with the county council's constitution before a final decision is reached on whether to proceed with introducing the crossing.  When the formal advertisement takes place, large signs and notices will be placed along Station Road, directing residents to our website for more details and to share their comments. Letters will also be sent to residents living near the proposed location of the crossing.
