EIF Consultation 2024/25
All Local Authorities are required to have an Inclusion Fund as an element of the Early Years National Funding Formula to support EY children with additional needs to access their funded entitlements. In Surrey we refer to this as Early Intervention Funding (EIF).
Funding can be applied for children who are in receipt of Funded Early Education. It is awarded according to the level of need as detailed within the child's Surrey Support Plan (SSP), and will be in place to support children to access settings where there may be barriers to learning including social, economic, environmental, adverse childhood experiences or additional needs and disabilities.
Why your views matter
As we have now completed the fifth full academic year of EIF, we would like to take this opportunity to consult with our providers and settings to understand what has worked well and what could be improved in order to support children through EIF.
In order for us to continue to extend and develop EIF, we need to hear your views.
The consultation period is now closed.
