Lower Sunbury Local Street Improvements: Have your say
We are developing proposals for Lower Sunbury to make the streets safer, healthier and more attractive with improved facilities for walking, wheeling and cycling.
We have now secured funding and will be publishing a delivery plan in due course.
About the project
Local Street Improvements are schemes intended to make streets within residential communities more appealing for people to spend time in and to make short journeys by walking, wheeling and bicycle.
As part of Surrey's Local Street Improvements programme, a scheme in Lower Sunbury is being developed with design funding from the Department for Transport.
We engaged with the community in Autumn 2024 on a set of draft proposals for the area which we have subsequently updated with several changes using feedback that was received. We recently concluded a third round of 'further engagement' with the community in Summer 2025 where local people shared their views to help shape the final plans for Lower Sunbury.
