Next Stage: TRO Statutory Consultation Now Open

Thank you again to everyone who took part in the earlier engagement on the proposed 20mph scheme for Parsonage Road and surrounding residential roads in Cranleigh.

Following the review of all feedback and the decision to progress the scheme, we have now entered the next stage of the legal process. A Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) Notice has been formally published and is open for statutory consultation.

This statutory consultation is the required legal step before any change to a speed limit can be introduced. During this period, anyone may submit statements of support, or objections to the proposal. All representations will be considered before a final decision is made on whether to implement the 20mph limit.

The consultation is open until 13 September 2026.
