About the project

Email

Your Neighbourhood Area Committees (NACs) aim to bring people together and create real opportunities for local collaboration and insight gathering in towns and villages. The purpose and focus of the NACs is to:

  • Understand key local issues
  • Agree priorities and champion collaborative action
  • Promote preventative activity
  • Support thriving communities
  • Act as advisory bodies (not constituted)
  • Supported by a range of engagement tools

Each Neighbourhood Area Committee is made up of partners from health, Surrey police, the education and business sector, voluntary community faith and social enterprise groups, local elected councillors including town and parish councillors, resident associations and representatives from the community.

Here is one of the places where you can have your say and input on what matters to you most in your local area.

Input your postcode and find out on the map whether you live in the area covered by the Dorking and the villages Neighbourhood Area Committee. You can still provide a comment even if you don't, as you might live, work, study or travel through and want to have your voice heard.
