Weybridge town centre road improvements
We are making improvements to the roads in Weybridge town centre to create a better town centre environment that encourages active travel such as walking and cycling. In addition we plan to improve pedestrian crossing facilities, street furniture, traffic flow and associated air quality.

About the project
New pedestrian crossings near Weybridge train station
We have proposed and consulted on two pedestrian crossings on Brooklands Road, near the train station. The results of the public engagement can be viewed here.
Overview
We are making changes to roads in Weybridge town centre to provide an improved high street environment and encourage more walking and cycling.
Planned Changes:
- Widening of existing footways
- New and improved pedestrian crossings
- Speed reduction measures
- New bus shelters
- Lighting upgrades
- New planters and seating
