Project Description: On May 27, 2020, the City Commission approved the Go-Forward
Roadway Landscape Master Plan to improve streetscapes citywide. Phase 2 will enhance Nob Hill Road & Commercial Blvd, Rock Island Road & NW 44th Street, and Commercial Blvd & the Turnpike. The project includes replacing hardscape medians, upgrading landscaping and irrigation, and adding decorative pavers. These improvements will enhance the gateways as part of the city’s beautification efforts.
Status: The project is in the preliminary design stage, involving data collection, surveying, and site analysis to develop plans and secure permits. Once approved, construction will go to bid through the City’s competitive process, tentatively in Winter 2025
