Project Description: This project includes the design, permitting, and construction of the Fiber Network Expansion Project – Phase 3a. The proposed work includes expanding the underground fiber connection (Backbone) from Fire Station 78 to Sabal Palm Park to prepare for future enhancements such as video surveillance, WiFi, etc.
Status: The Public Services Project Management Team is collaborating with the Purchasing Division to finalize a formal bid package for this project. It is tentatively scheduled to be advertised for bids in December 2024 through the City’s competitive bidding process.
