Project Description: This design-build project includes the construction of a dog park on the parcel located on NW 108th Terrace (south of Sanibel recreation center & club house, west of the Devon community). The project will include fenced areas for large, medium and small dogs; a 5 ft walking path, water fountain for dogs, pet disposal stations, shaded benches, trash receptacles, signage, landscaping, fiber network infrastructure and WiFi.
Status: The Public Services project management team is currently working with the Parks & Recreation Department and our Purchasing Division staff to prepare a formal RFP (Design-Build) bid package for bidding this project through the City’s competitive bidding process. This project is tentatively scheduled to go out for bid in early March 2025.
