Project Description: This in-house design project includes the installation of a new water main to provide a looped distribution system for the Pinehurst Circle Community located between the north end of NW 91st Avenue (within the Landings on Cypress Greens) and extending across the Colony West golf course into the south end of W. Pinehurst Circle. The project includes the installation of a new 8”, C-900 PVC Watermain piping, fittings and accessories, service line laterals, removal of existing 6” DIP piping, milling and asphalt pavement resurfacing, full pavement restoration, key cuts tie-ins with existing asphalt and driveway connection, tack coat application, guardrail removal & reinstallation, and concrete sidewalk and site restoration, in accordance with the technical specifications, design plans, and all applicable federal, state, county and local regulations.

Status: This project was approved at the January 22, 2025, City Commission Meeting. A pre-construction meeting between the City and the Contractor was held on February 3, 2025. As of the week of February 24, 2025, the contractor has mobilized on site and started construction phase.
