Concrete Foundations Poured for New Fair Oaks Complex

Concrete foundations are officially underway at East Tampa Recreational Complex at Fair Oaks Park, signaling the construction of the new recreation center. Skanska has started pouring concrete for the highly anticipated 33,000-square foot facility. The facility will replace the current recreation center at the park and include dedicated space for seniors, dedicated space for youth, classrooms and space for indoor sports. The new recreation center is expected to be completed in the fall of 2025, and the entire 10-acre park will be completed in spring 2026.
