East Tampa CRA Community Redevelopment Plan Update
The Tampa Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is currently updating the East Tampa Community Redevelopment Plan (CRP). This plan will outline the development, project, and programming initiatives for the East Tampa CRA over the next 5-10 years. This plan update will incorporate feedback from private and public stakeholders, as well as those who live, work, and play in the East Tampa CRA District. The goal of this plan update is to guide development initiated by the CRA in a manner that aligns with the goals and vision of the East Tampa Community.
The Tampa CRA seeks to preserve and improve its areas by identifying and initiating redevelopment activities to empower residents, businesses, and community stakeholders to enhance and improve both the residential and commercial areas of the East Tampa CRA district. Our partners play a pivotal role is achieving this vision, which encourages economic growth and quality of life for all residents.

CAC Meeting: Project Kick-Off
The consultant team will attend the October 1st East Tampa Community Advisory Committe (CAC) meeting to introduce themselves and give an overview of the project.
Community Engagement Meeting #1
The consultant team will lead a community engagment meeting to obtain feedback from local residents, businesses, and other stakeholders. The meeting will take place from 6:30 pm to 8:00pm at the C. Blythe Andrews, Jr. Public Library, located at 2607 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Tampa, FL 33610
CAC Meeting - 60% Update
The consultant team is to present a 60% draft of the East Tampa Community Redevelopment Plan (CRP) to the East Tampa Community Advisory Committee (CAC) and answer questions and obtain feedback.
Community Engagement Meeting #2
The consultant team will lead a community engagment meeting to provide a 60% status update on the Community Redevelopment Plan draft. The objective will be to engage and obtain feedback from local residents, businesses, and other stakeholders. The meeting will take place from 6:30 pm to 8:00pm at the City Center at Hanna (2555 E Hanna Ave, Tampa, FL 33610).
East Tampa CAC Presentation
The consultant team will present the updated draft of the East Tampa CRA Community Redevelopment Plan to the East Tampa Community Advisory Committee. The drafted plan is still currently under review by CRA legal counsel and subject to change per feedback from the CRA Board.
