K-Bar Park
"Exciting plans are underway for a new neighborhood park that will bring multipurpose recreation areas, grounds, trails, and scenic outdoor spaces to the K-Bar Ranch community—all while preserving the area’s natural beauty and wildlife. Join us as we shape a park designed with your input to connect neighbors, nature, and recreation!"
Introduction
The City of Tampa is committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents through thoughtful investment in recreation and green spaces. In collaboration with the K-Bar Ranch community, we’re designing a neighborhood park that embraces both active and passive recreational opportunities while celebrating the natural beauty of the area. With features such as multipurpose athletic fields, trails, picnic facilities, and play areas, this project aims to create an inclusive destination for outdoor enjoyment and community connection.
Preserving the environment is central to this effort, with plans to integrate existing wetlands, wildlife habitats, and mature trees into the park's design. From boardwalks that meander through natural areas to interpretive signage for environmental education, the park will promote stewardship of our local ecosystems.
Community feedback is vital to shaping this neighborhood amenity, and the City of Tampa is seeking input from residents to ensure the park reflects the unique needs and desires of northeast Tampa residents.
