New Traffic Signal at E. Sligh Avenue and N. 30th Street
New Traffic Signal Enhances Safety
A city-wide traffic signal maintenance contractor has recently installed a new traffic signal at the corner of East Sligh Avenue and North 30th Street. This installation is part of the Hanna Avenue Improvements Project, aimed at enhancing safety and managing traffic congestion for both motorists and pedestrians in the River Grove, Woodland Terrace, and Old Seminole Heights neighborhoods.
In addition to the new traffic signals, advanced rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFBs) and ADA-compliant sidewalk curb ramps were placed on either side of the crosswalks at the intersection of East Sligh Avenue and N. 30th Street. The project was completed at a cost of $360,000.
Other transportation upgrades related to the Hanna Avenue Mobility Improvements Project are currently in the design phase.
