Budget in Action | Tampa Thrives Fiscal Year 2024 Budget Plan

Understanding the financial future of our city is crucial for all Tampa residents. The overall goal of Budget in Action is to create an interactive educational experience that provides community members with the tools they need to better understand the Tampa Thrives Fiscal Year 2024 Budget and what it means for them and their neighborhoods.

In an effort to maintain pace with Tampa's growing priorities, Mayor Jane Castor unveiled a $1.9 billion budget proposal which incorporates a one-point millage increase. This was presented during the City Council meeting held on August 3, 2023.
