Meet Your New Neighbors

On Saturday, February 20, residents and business owners in the Terrace Park neighborhood joined Fire Chief Barbara Tripp and members of Tampa Fire Rescue for a community conversation about the design, development, and construction of Fire Station No. 24.

Attendees had the opportunity to meet the design team, receive an update on the construction process, and learn about the benefits of having a fire station in their community.

Fire Station #24 Construction

Tampa Fire Station No. 24, is a proposed one-story, approximately 17,000-square foot facility, inclusive of living quarters.

Other amenities include administrative spaces, a four-bay apparatus area, a training tower, and a central utility plant for air conditioner and heating needs.

Tampa Fire Chief Barbara Tripp and the TFR team meet their new neighbors.

Located south of Greco Park, the station is designed to fit naturally into the neighborhood. This building will beautify the area and serve as a dedicated resource for the community.

The one-story, ADA-accessible design eliminates stairwells and elevators, reducing delays and allowing fire crews to deploy more rapidly.
