Appropriation of Funds

Based on the data collection results, which included a highest 85th Percentile Speed less than 9-mph over the posted speed limit, Cary's Traffic Calming Program recommends a community funding of 25%. The remaining cost of any proposed traffic calming will be funded by the Cary Traffic Calming Program.

Based on preliminary budget estimates, the community funding share may range between $3,500 and $7,000.

Community funding will be presented to Cary Town Council for acceptance and appropriation.
