Tewkesbury Borough Council - Budget consultation 2025/26

We are now in the process of setting our budget for the 2025/26 financial year. Final decisions on the budget will be made by Council in February 2025.

We continue to face unprecedented financial challenges. Some of these include a growing population, less Government funding and high inflation. We are determined to focus on transforming our service delivery and income generation in order to give residents excellent value-for-money. Our council tax also remains one of the lowest in the country and has been for many years.

In our Council Plan we set out that we want to ensure every pound spent is done so efficiently and achieves the maximum possible benefit. We also make clear our commitment to support our customers, making sure it’s as easy as possible for them to engage with us – listening to them and shaping our services to meet their needs. Therefore, it is important that you tell us how we should spend our money and how you think we should make the savings we need.
