The Balancing Broadway Plan

The City of Lorain approached Legacy City Planners to participate in a semester-long comprehensive planning process for the downtown Lorain study area, including the Broadway Avenue corridor, the surrounding residential neighborhoods, and waterfront redevelopment sites. The first phase of the planning process conducted research and analysis of the existing conditions and built environment. Phase two involved finalizing our recommendations and implementation strategies for the study area, with collaborative efforts explicitly focused on the redevelopment sites at City Hall and Pellet Terminal. The following report will contextualize our findings and recommendations.
