The Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) is a state agency that manages funding programs for infrastructure projects. These programs help local governments maintain and improve public infrastructure, including roads, bridges, water systems, and sewer systems. The goal is to ensure these systems are functional, safe, and up to date, thereby enhancing public safety, health, and welfare.

In 2026, the roads to be replaced are as follows:

Concrete roads to be replaced:

  • Iowa Ave. from Bridge St. to Colorado Ave. (SR 611)
  • Eastlawn St. from Nebraska Ave. to New Hampshire Ave.
  • W. 16th St. from Reid Ave. to Broadway
  • W. 23rd St. from Washington Ave. to Hamilton Ave.
  • Queen Anne Ave. from Kingsway Dr. to W. 42nd Place
  • Ashland Ave. from W. 41st St. to Tower Blvd.
  • Orchard Hill Blvd. from Belmont Dr. to Appleseed Dr.
  • Packard Dr. from Camden Ave. to Chelsea Ave.
  • Edgewood Dr. from W. 35th St. to W. 37th St.

Removal of the north side of Eastlawn is scheduled to begin Tuesday June 16, 2026.

W. 16th St. from Reid Ave. to Broadway

Scheduled to start June 15, 2026
Prep, forming and concrete paving are scheduled for the week of 6/15/26.
