Black River Dredge Reuse Facility
To ensure continued navigability, the Black River Harbor undergoes annual dredging. Supported by funding from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, the City of Lorain's newly constructed Black River Dredge Material Reuse Facility is prepared to receive up to 75,000 cubic yards of dredged material starting in July 2024.
