Facilities Assessment Project

As an integral part of our town’s sustainable future, the Town of Westford is proud to have commissioned Tecton Architects to spearhead the “Westford Town Building Master Plan and Capital Improvement Plan Project.” The objective of this critical initiative is to ascertain the current conditions of various municipal buildings, conceptualize a master plan for optimal space usage spanning the next two decades, and develop a comprehensive capital improvement plan.

Through a phased approach, this project not only evolves with meticulous planning, judicious space evaluation, and thoughtful assessment, but aims to envision a Facility Space Utilization Master Plan that anticipates the needs and objectives of our growing community. Implementing these assessed improvements through a ten-year Capital Plan, we aim to streamline resources to benefit the citizens of Westford, forging a harmonious balance between community needs and capital expenditure. A cornerstone of this project is public engagement, and we greatly value the insights and perspectives of our residents, knowing their input will play a pivotal role in helping shape our town's future.
