The Connaught Village Green Public Realm improvement scheme aims to bring pedestrian and community benefits to the area of Connaught Street and Kendal Street.

Works will begin on Connaught Street from 2^nd October and will proceed in four phases until May 2025.

 The scheme will deliver the following improvements: 

• A new pedestrian space at the heart of Connaught Village achieved by pedestrianising the Kendal Street parking cul-de-sac.
• Raised planting, outdoor seating, drinking water fountain and new natural stone paving.
• Improved crossings with a raised table and shorter crossing distances.
• Improved north-south cycle link via Titchborne Row. 
• Wider footway at the southern side of Connaught Street (between the junction of Albion Street and Kendal Street) with a loading pad, two trees (subject to further investigations) and cycle stands.
