Expanding the Nuisance Vehicles PSPO

Learn more

In 2021, Westminster established an order to prohibit various behaviours associated with the anti-social use of generally high performance vehicles in Westminster.

This order was renewed in December 2024 for a further 3-years to December 2027.

Since the order was created, there have been sporadic reports of similar issues in other areas, potentially as a result of displacement caused by the current order.

In the public consultation carried out in 2024, we received positive feedback on expanding the order to cover Soho and Mayfair.

We are therefore consulting on an expanded order as shown in the map below.  The red boundary reflects the area of the current order, and the blue boundary shows the area to which we are proposing to expand the order.

Download a copy of the current order, including the restrictions that will apply to the expanded area, below.

The purpose of this consultation is to seek formal feedback on the new order, to determine the need for the order expansion, and understand any potential impacts, if any, that this may have on residents, businesses and visitors.
