Resident engagement event held to launch the proposals

On Wednesday 11th March Grosvenor hosted an open afternoon in St Peter's Church, Eaton Square with Westminster. Residents joined us to hear how the proposed upgrades have evolved through historic research and energy modelling. 

The proposals include:

- various window improvements to reduce heat loss and draughts whilst retaining historically significant features;

- external awnings to shade sunny windows and reduce overheating in summer;

- solar panels on concealed roofs to generate electricity.

Several questions and suggestions were raised about how to ensure the proposed Local Listed Building Consent Order to grant consent for the upgrades could be clearer and more useful for residents.
