Warwick Way Construction Updates - 13.02.2026

Phase 1 Churton Street (between Charlwood Place and Churton Place)

All footway works are complete along Churton Street between Charlwood Place and Churton Place, except for the loading bay immediately outside No. 23. Paving works outside No. 23 will resume once the ongoing investigations are concluded.

Phase 2 Churton Street (between Charlwood Place and Belgrave Road)

Construction is on-going along Churton Street between Charlwood Place and Belgrave Road.  However, during the works an existing underground carriageway void was uncovered.  Further investigatory works have been commissioned to determine the cause and full extent of the void.  The results will inform the next steps in respect to the remedial works involved. Until resolved this will require the existing road closure to remain in place and cause some delay to the project construction programme.

Phase 1-5 Warwick Way & Phase 6 Upper Tachbrook Street (between Longmoore Street and Warwick Way)

Works are complete for phases 1 to 6 along Warwick Way & Upper Tachbrook Street. However, tree pits and tree planting works remain outstanding and are expected to start from next week along Upper Tachbrook Street.
