Warwick Way Construction Updates - 19.12.2025

Phase 1 Churton Street (between Tachbrook Street and Charlwood Place)

All footway works are complete along Churton Place between Tachbrook Street and Charlwood Place, except for the loading bay immediately outside No. 23.  Until ongoing investigations related to No. 23 are concluded, paving works immediately outside cannot be completed. 

Phase 2 Churton Street (between Charlwood Place and Belgrave Road)

Construction is on-going along Churton Street between Charlwood Place and Belgrave Road.  The remaining paving works will be completed in the New Year.  In the meantime, temporary reinstatement works will be completed and barriers removed so that the affected areas can be safely reopened by the close of play on the 19th December. Signal works at the junction with Belgrave Road involving the relocation of a signal pole and installation of a new low level cycle signal has been completed and is now operational.

Phase 2 works will resume from 5^th January 2026, following the Christmas and New Year break.

Phase 1-5 Warwick Way & Phase 6 Upper Tachbrook Street (between Longmoore Street and Warwick Way)

Works are complete for phases 1 to 6 along Warwick Way & Upper Tachbrook Street. However tree pits works remaining, which will be completed in the coming weeks.
