Core Grants Programme
The Council’s three-year Core Grants Programme is currently scheduled to end in March 2027.
As part of Westminster City Council's review of future voluntary and community sector support arrangements and in light of the financial challenges the Council is facing, we are undertaking a short assessment to help us understand the potential impact of reductions in core funding for VCS organisations and to inform any future decisions regarding core support arrangements.
About the project
The assessment is intended to identify organisations most likely to experience significant impacts from any reduction of Core Grant funding and to inform future arrangements.
We recognise that many organisations have limited capacity and we are therefore seeking only a small amount of information. Please provide the following by email no later than Friday 13th November 2026.
The information will help us better understand organisational resilience, potential community impacts and future transition considerations. We aim to feed back the outcomes of the process to core grant recipients in December 2026.
