Great Chapel Street Public Realm Improvements

WCC is proposing to remove asphalt and installed a raised surface to make the area more pedestrian friendly now that non essential vehicles are excluded. This consultation seeks your comments on proposals for the area in general and how the space can be used.

This consultation will run from 17 March to 7 April 2025.

The exclusion of vehicles within this area is now permanent. This consultation seeks view on how the public realm can be completed in terms of trees, cycle and pedestrian facilities. We will use the feedback to further develop designs for implementation late summer.
