Find out about the Healthy Homes Forum - a group of local people who are helping create ways to improve Avenues homes

Queens Park Avenues Healthy Homes

A group of 5 people sitting around a table filled with models of homes. The woman on the right side is speaking and the other people are watching her.

We’re creating a Healthy Homes Forum – a group of 20 Queens Park residents and homeowners – to help design improvements to homes and find ways to make them happen.

The Forum will meet for four Saturday afternoon workshops between July and November to work with architects and council staff to come up with ideas for making Avenues homes healthier.

Anyone from the Avenues can apply to join the Forum. You don’t need any special knowledge other than experience of living in the Avenues. We just ask that you come willing to listen, learn, and share your thoughts with the group.

Everyone who takes part will receive £320 in vouchers as a thank you. You must be available to attend all four workshops.

Applications to join the Healthy Homes Forum closed on Friday 20th June. 20 residents, selected by lottery, to form the Forum will be contacted directly ahead of the first workshop on 12th July. Updates on the Forum's work will be provided here on Commonplace.

If you would like further information you can speak to one of the project team at the Queens Park Library on Thursdays from 5-7pm, email us at healthyhomes@westminster.gov.uk or call the Queens Park Community Council on 020 8960 5644.
