Road Safety Scheme proposals for Harrow Road and Bourne Terrace

Westminster City Council is launching a public consultation on proposed safety enhancements at the Harrow Road, Bourne Terrace, and Torquay Street junction, following a feasibility study revealing seven personal injury collisions—including six serious incidents—in the three years to February 2023, far exceeding local averages. Aimed at protecting vulnerable road users through improved pedestrian crossings, better visibility, and traffic calming, the scheme promises to reduce risks from high speeds and obstructions. Residents and stakeholders are invited to share views from 18 September 2025 to 9 October 2025.
