Warwick Way Construction Updates - 14.04.2025

Phase 1 Warwick Way (between Upper Tachbrook Street and Wilton Road) 

Works are have largely been completed.  As previously advised, a delay to a materials delivery has resulted in a change to the way the scheme is being constructed.  The carriageway has been opened as planned on 07/04/25, operating in a westbound direction.  However, works to the footway are ongoing for the next two weeks at the western end of this section.  The northern section will progress for the next week, paving from Gees Chemist to the junction with Wilton Road.  The southern section, from Chase Dry Cleaners to Choi, will follow on once the northern section is completed.

The loading bay outside Tesco has been temporarily back filled with an asphalt construction until our Contractor is in a position to install the finished granite set construction.

Phase 2 Denbigh Street

Denbigh Street has been closed at its junction with Warwick Way.  Excavation for the extended footway outside Uno Pronto to the Paradise Indian Restaurant will begin this week.
