Westminster Council approves new “Westminster After Dark” Plan for Safer and more Vibrant Nightlife

Westminster City Council has approved its 15-year strategy to make the city safer, more vibrant, and welcoming after dark. The Westminster After Dark strategy introduces new opportunity areas in Victoria, Strand, and Oxford Street, alongside measures to protect LGBTQ+ venues, improve safety, and diversify cultural activities.

From expanding CCTV coverage and joint patrols to promoting new activations and family-friendly events, the strategy aims to create a thriving, inclusive evening and night-time environment across Westminster.
