Original consultation

We undertook engagement in 2022 to design our new victim-led strategy, which puts their voice, priorities and needs at the core of our approach to tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB).

Consultation description

We consulted on what residents wanted to see in our new ASB strategy.

We undertook engagement with:

  • victims
  • residents
  • businesses
  • former perpetrators
  • different teams within the council
  • the police,
  • housing providers
  • community organisations.

This engagement helped to shap the 5 pillars of our strategy:

  1. Prevention
  2. Early Engagement
  3. Supporting Victims
  4. Bringing Perpetrators to Justice
  5. Engaging the Community.
