Adult Social Care & Health Consultations
Welcome to Westminster City Council's Adult Social Care & Health consultation page.
About the project
The Fair Funding Review 2.0 is expected to reduce the resources available in the Council’s budget. At the same time, the cost of providing services is increasing – particularly in areas such as children’s and adult social care, homelessness support, and temporary accommodation.
To manage the effects of these factors on the Council’s adult social care services, Westminster City Council is consulting about two proposed changes:
- Introducing an administration fee for people who pay for their own care but ask the Council to arrange it for them.
- Introducing a charge when the Council acts as an Appointee to manage someone’s State Benefits.
