Have your say on the parking area by Hormead Wharf
Westway Housing Association would like to hear feedback from residents on the future of the parking area by Hormead Wharf. Westway will review the responses to this resident feedback form to inform the Housing Associations decision on the future use of the space.
The survey on the potential future of the parking area by Hormead Road ran from the 10th of November to the 10th of December 2023. The majority of responses are in favour of the parklet.
About the project

Context
The space is located between 48A and 50 Hormead Road, W9. The site is owned by Westway Housing Association and is currently designated as five parking bays with one bay for Canal and River Trust (CRT) maintenance use only and four bays for residents of Hormead Road, other than those living in Westway HA flats.
Recently, residents turned some of the parking into a community parklet. In 2022 the space was returned to parking. Requests from residents of Hormead Road have been received for a permanent community parklet to be created.
