Timeline

Phase 1 - drafting and engagement

January 2024 - September 2025
We undertook extensive engagement with internal and external stakeholders to draft a policy that incorporated all the elements of best practice regarding domestic abuse. This went through a series of reviews to ensure it was fit for purpose and we could provide a service to those affected by domestic abuse with a view of reaching the best outcomes.

Phase 2 - consultation

November 2025 - January 2026
We are keen to obtain as much feedback from residents as possible regarding the policy and invite everyone to complete the survey.

Phase 3 - Publishing and embedding

February 2026 - Onwards
We will be reviewing the feedback and aim to publish the policy in February onwards, and helping to embed this into the service with a series of other internal initiatives and programmes for staff, as well as communications for residents.
