The Knightsbridge Green scheme aims to enhance the public realm by improving pedestrian areas and reducing traffic. The proposals are designed to create a safer, greener and more welcoming environment for all users.

A public consultation for the Knightsbridge Green scheme was held between Tuesday 9 December 2025 to 11:59 pm on Monday 12 January 2026.

A consultation report is now available to view through the tiles below.

About the project

Email

Located in the heart of Westminster, the Knightsbridge Green scheme focuses on putting people first by creating a more inclusive and accessible streetscape. The scheme is centred on prioritising pedestrians, by reducing the presence and impact of through-traffic, widening pedestrian areas and introducing new street furniture.

These improvements aim to deliver a more vibrant, people-focused environment that strengthens the local economy through supporting local retail and outdoor dining opportunities whilst aligning with the vision set out in the Knightsbridge Place & Public Realm Strategy.
