Cargo Bikehangars in Westminster
As part of the City Council's ongoing strategy to provide secure cycle parking, in December 2023, we installed the first cargo bikehangar at St. John's Wood Terrace to meet the demand for residents requiring secure storage for non-standard bikes. This hangar can accommodate 2 cargo/adapted bikes and is currently in a trial phase.
We are keen to gather your feedback regarding the roll out of cargo/adapted bike hangars in the borough and strongly encourage you to participate in the survey as your input and feedback are vital in shaping the implementation of the secure cycle storage, ensuring that it aligns with your needs and preferences.
By sharing your views, you have an opportunity to contribute to the development of an effective and inclusive solution for cycle storage.
The consultation period will run from 7th August 2024 to 18th September 2024.
About the project
In reference to the on-street trial at St. John’s Wood Terrace, we would like to understand the views of the public on the wider rollout of cargo/adapted hangars and their use.
