Churton Street Construction Updates - 10.04.2026

Phase 2 (between Belgrave Road and Charlwood Place)

Construction is on-going along Churton Street between Tachbrook Street and Belgrave Road. During the works an existing underground carriageway void was uncovered and investigated. However, during that investigation a further carriageway void was identified.  Trial hole and void remedial works have been completed, allowing for the outstanding paving and drainage works to resume.  Until complete  this will require the existing road closure at the junction with Belgrave Road to remain in place and cause some delay to the project construction programme.  

Phase 4 Tachbrook Street (between Churton Place and Charlwood Street)

Construction works on-going for the extended footway at the northwestern arm of the junction with Charlwood Street, outside Nisa Local.  This is expected to be completed within the next two weeks.

Phase 1-5 Warwick Way & Phase 6 Upper Tachbrook Street (between Longmoore Street and Warwick Way)

Tree planting works completed along Warwick Way and Upper Tachbrook Street. However, minor reinstatement works around some of the planted trees are to be undertaken shortly.
