Have your say - Westminster's recycling and waste service ♻️

Westminster City Council wants to hear about your experiences with your local recycling and waste collections service, and any ideas you have to improve it. We've commissioned an independent research agency (Thinks Insights) to engage with local residents.

Your participation in the research would involve:

• An ‘online community’ between the 23rd of February and the 6th of March 2026 (this takes ~1-2h to complete)
• A full-day in-person workshop in Westminster (Saturday 14^th March - lunch and refreshments provided) 
• A post-workshop follow-up in March (date to be confirmed - ~1h discussion)

An ‘online community’ is a website where you can complete activities, such as answering questions and ranking different options. You can complete the activities on the platform at any time of day between the 23rd of February and the 6th of March 2026, at a time that works best for you. There will be moderators on hand if you need any help.

All in-person discussions and online community submissions will be anonymised in the research findings.

For taking part, you'll receive an incentive of £150 paid via voucher (see: Where To Spend Love2shop Gift Vouchers). Additionally, we have an Inclusion Fund to enable people with any special adjustments (such as wheelchair-friendly travel or childcare) to attend the in-person workshop.
