Internal consultation on the City Plan 2019 – 2040 is now live

Westminster City Council is undertaking early, informal consultation in preparation for the City Plan Full Review 2026.  

This consultation aims to gather insights from internal members of staff at Westminster council who use the City Plan in their day-to-day activities. 

We are seeking feedback on how the policies within the City Plan 2019-2040 are performing and suggestions on whether updates or improvements to the policies and their supporting text is needed. The internal consultation is running from July 2025 to 20th November 2025.  

We need your feedback! 

Your input will directly influence the “Direction of travel document” which is due to be produced in Spring 2026. This document will guide the formal stages of consultation, at Regulation 18, and will provide policy officers with an early indication of the scope of the City Plan review and vision for current and potentially new policies.
