Paddington - Bayswater High Streets 2024 Delivery Plan Launched

Westminster City Council are happy announce the launch of the Paddington - Bayswater High Streets 2024 Delivery Plan.

This follows the 2023 public engagement which asked local residents, business and visitors to identify local priorities for the area.

The 2024 delivery plan commits to the following priority projects:

• x2 Place Strategies – Praed Street & Queensway and Westbourne Grove
• x2 Public Realm Improvements - Praed Street and London Street & Fiveways Junction and Westbourne Grove
• Shopfront Improvement Scheme
• Visual Merchandising Scheme
• Business Resilience Programme
• Animation Programme

These key priority projects allocate £3M of the overall £10M Paddington – Bayswater capital fund, to mobilise design work and some initial delivery funding, along with additional revenue funding.

The design stage has now commenced for all proposed projects. Each project will have its own programme and engagement plan, providing opportunity for the public to feed in further.
