Westminster After Dark: An Inclusive and Dynamic City

Westminster After Dark: An Inclusive and Dynamic City

Our commitment to working with our community, businesses, and stakeholders to develop Westminster’s first Evening and Night-time Plan.

Engaging Voices to shape a vision for the future of Westminster after dark.

Westminster City Council is creating an Evening and Night-time Plan that listens to our community's needs and desires.

From the West End to Harrow Road, Westminster plays a key role in London’s nightlife, supporting good jobs and a world leading array of cultural, entertainment, and culinary attractions.

The evening and night-time should be as much for somebody walking their dog at 6pm, visiting friends for dinner at 8pm, working as a nurse at 2am, or taking part in the charity Moonlight Walk at 3am, as it is for somebody going to the theatre, eating out at restaurant, drinking in a bar or going to a music venue.

Our aim is to find the right balance between the interests of residents, visitors, and businesses, so that night-time in the city is managed well and serves the needs and interests of all those who have stake in the evening environment. We are committed to working closely with the community, exploring new ideas, and being inclusive to make our city dynamic, safe, and enjoyable at night.

We want to hear from everyone, including residents, visitors, businesses, partners, and local groups.

Enabling Engagement and Feedback: A Collaborative Approach

We think it is really important to hear from our community and businesses when making our Evening and Night-time Plan. We want to work together with everyone to shape the plan and talk about any issues or challenges. To do this, we have different ways for people to share their thoughts.

A Vision for the Future of Westminster after Dark

Our Evening and Night-time Plan isn't just a document; it is a guide that sets a vision for the future of our evening and night-time environment. We want to hear from residents, visitors, businesses, partners, and everyone involved to capture the diverse voices that make Westminster special.

We invite you to join us in shaping this plan for Westminster after dark. Together, we will celebrate our city's diversity, welcome new ideas, and make Westminster an even better place for all who live, work, visit or run a business here.
