4x cargo bike stands were proposed at Maida Hill, Harrow Road, Church Street and Warwick Way as a trial to operate the first rental cargo bike scheme in Westminster.

You Said

The informal consultation completed in Jan 2023, 14 responses received, 2 objected to the site at Maida Hill due to how the scheme will operate and impact local residents with a high number of dumped bikes and noise disturbance at night.

We Did

The scheme is small scale and only permitted a total of 4 cargo bikes to operate in the city, and restricted timings to access the scheme meant those concerns were addressed. 4x sites were installed at the proposed locations and so far, we have received no further complaints/enquiries regarding this scheme.
