Community Resilience Assessment
You Said, We Did
The Resilience Team ran a consultation from 2024 October to December. The aim was to gain an understanding of the existing capabilities, needs and barriers to emergency preparedness, as well as to identify tools and resources that can enhance community and individual preparedness and resilience.
This consultation specifically looked to gather input from residents, voluntary and community sector organisations (VCS) and faith organisations. Overall, 95 responses were collected through a mixed methods approach of online survey and guided discussions. Note, only two responses are shown in percentages and the remainder are shown as the number of responses in parentheses.

Residents have your say!
This is an opportunity to work with the Resilience Team and contribute to building a more resilient community.
Emergencies can happen at any time and affect anyone. The Resilience Team in Westminster City Council aims to empower individuals and communities to prepare, respond, and recover from emergencies. However, building Community Resilience requires a 'whole of society' approach, and we want to hear from you about your existing emergency preparedness capabilities, needs, and barriers. This will allow us to develop a Community Resilience plan and key initiatives that are equitable, inclusive, and accessible by placing the needs of the community at the centre.
